What Is the Burning Bridges AI Trend?
The Burning Bridges AI trend drops people and pets into the party scene from Drake's music video: where it started, the signature move, how to make it.
Last updated: 2026-10-13
The Burning Bridges AI trend is a short AI video format that spread across TikTok, Instagram Reels and X in early October 2026. Creators take one scene — a packed, chandelier-lit private dinner party — and put someone new at the head of the table: themselves, a friend, their dog, or a famous character.
Where it comes from
The scene is from the music video for "Burning Bridges", a track on Drake's 2026 album Iceman. The part people remake is the party moment in a private dining room: warm light, a long table, a crowd around the host, and a silver cup raised to the camera.
The trend is fan-made. It isn't run or endorsed by Drake, OVO or any label — and neither is this site.
The move everyone copies
What makes a Burning Bridges AI video recognisable is one gesture: a flat hand held over the eyes like a visor, head turning slowly left and right, as if searching the room for someone — the "where she at?" moment. It had already become a meme on its own before the AI wave, and in the AI versions it's the beat that makes viewers laugh.
What people put in the scene
- Themselves — the most common version, usually from one selfie.
- A friend or partner — two people side by side, both doing the move.
- Pets — dogs and cats at the head of the table, paw over the eyes.
- Characters and athletes — TV mob bosses, quarterbacks, wrestlers and cartoon ogres all went viral.
If you use real people, stick to yourself and people who said yes, and label the video as AI-generated when the platform asks.
How people make it
There are three common routes:
- A written prompt in an image-to-video model (Seedance, Kling, Higgsfield and similar): upload a photo, describe the party and the move, and re-roll until the face holds up. Our free Burning Bridges AI prompt is a good starting point.
- Motion control with the original clip, then syncing the sound in CapCut. Closest to the original, but it means working with someone else's footage.
- A one-photo generator like the one on our home page: pick who is in it, upload the photo, pay once, and download a 28-second, 480p MP4 in 9:16 or 16:9.
Tips for a video that looks like you
- One face per photo, looking at the camera, in even light.
- Head and shoulders, not a full-body shot from far away.
- No sunglasses, masks or heavy filters.
- Vertical 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
Skip the prompt. Make it from one photo.
Upload a photo and get the finished Burning Bridges party video in 10–15 minutes. 480p from $6.90, no subscription required.
